Look at this chunk. Actually, I sent this picture to my family today with the subject line, Jan King in the house.

Just waking up...typical man, hand on his balls and all. Now this picture was taken the day before the first picture. It looks like he gained 5 lbs over night. Weird...

Why? Why?

He's got his wife beater on. To which Josh replied....(in baby voice)...."Are you going to go get a can of Bush Light and give Mommy two black eyes?"

OK, now this video...so, he decided to get his lean on and roll over. Well, the first time I missed it, the second time I recorded it....only, I didn't hit record until it was over, so that was pretty much just Austin staring at the camera and me cussing in the background. So, third time was basically just on principal, but by this time he is getting mad, so there was a little prompting on my part. Enjoy...and p.s. check out the hair. It's like two different heads of hair. Like no hair in the front and all patchy and long in the back. It's the baby mullet. Business in front, party and patchy in back...HEY!!!

Misc...and what nots...

(Sigh)...the boy's got eczema...Well, he did. I have been lubing him up like crazy with some medicashe and aquaphyllic lotion. The stuff is awesome. Anyway, here he is eczema'd out, he looks so much better.

Austin's new girlfriend...I talk like in his short life of 3 months he's had so many. But, anyway...long story short, I made a friend...she has a little girl 2 months older than Austin. So we are BFF. Here they are playing footsie. Austin's trying to play it cool.

I just like this picture because it looks like he is telling a bad joke..."Horse walks into a bar..." No?

I think this scenario is pretty self explanatory...moral of the story is we don't get out much.

It's 5 am...what do you do?

You take a picture of your son, because you think it looks like a picture of a monkey on a bookmark. Yes, lots of things are funny at 5 am...infomercials....sorry..."paid programming"...bad movies....sleep...actually...sleep is what you start to resent the other person in the house for doing at 5 am. :)

And some days....you shoot for this....a child sleeping beautifully in his crib.

Looking through some picture albums the other day, found this one...this was my 21st birthday in college. Josh just turned 23, we had been dating for 2 months. Josh says..."Look at all that luscious hair."

I wish you could see that top...halter...the back v-ed open at the bottom, like a tepee...why?...who wants to see lower back/love handles...especially in black pants. You know what I'm talking about ladies. Everyone had black going out pants in college...they were tight, they flared at the bottom, and you had to constantly febreeze them because they reeked of bar and cigarettes.

8 years later...here we are celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary. First date night out without Austin, we were dropping him off at our friend's for the evening. Little less hair...little more l.b.'s...plus baby...can't complain too much. :)

...here it is as of 2 days ago, guess it's a parking lot, and there's a beach to the left. Yes, there is a beach in Iowa...with real sand and everything. Not so pretty after the flood, but what can you do?

Traveling...growing...and picture taking.

Our big boy just turned 2 months. He's come along way from looking like an alien baby at birth. Stats, 11.2 lbs, and 23 1/4 long. Pretty much average across the board. Austin and I went home for a week to see some friends and fam, then headed back to Iowa to scoop up Josh on our way to Wisconsin where we spent the 4th with his family.
